Michael is an experienced planner, litigator, and problem solver representing clients in estate/asset protection, probate, trusts, elder law, Medicaid, guardianships, business, and real estate. He serves as a Guardian Ad Litem and professional fiduciary (Executor, Trustee, or Attorney in Fact).

His practice touches all stages: from initial planning (succession, legacy) to mid-life (elder law, Medicaid) and end-of-life (administration). He approaches cases with compassion, listening to understand during difficult times.

Even best-laid plans can cause disputes. Michael is an experienced litigator in complex probate, estate, and trust contests. He believes good legal advice is being honest about what clients need to hear, not just what they want to hear.

Prior to Bonahoom & Bobilya, LLC, Michael practiced insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment law, and civil rights. He enjoys time with his wife, Ashley, and their five children, and is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
